Our first full day in Cairo was spent visiting the pyramids.  There are 138 pyramids in Egypt.  We saw only a few but they were the most important ones.  The oldest pyramid we saw was the Step Pyramid.  Next came the Bent Pyramid, followed by the Red Pyramid.  At some point I will add some of the chronology but for the moment I just want to get the pictures up for viewing.

We also saw the famous Great Pyramid - also known as Pyramid of Cheops.  At the same site are two slighly smaller pyramids - Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure.  These three are the ones you see in most of the pictures.

The pyramids aren't the only great sight at Giza. We also have the sphinx,  Here are a few pictures from various angles.
Our last stop of the day was at the Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Center.  At the Art Center, they do original weavings and batik creations.
